My Ultimate Green Smoothie Recipe

Getting abundant greens into your diet can sometimes be a challenge.  Smoothies and fresh pressed juices seem to be the easiest way to do just this.  Not only do greens give rich nutrients to your body, but they also help the body gently detox.  It is crucial to "take the trash out" for extraordinary health and beauty.  True beauty is an inside job anyway. Allowing glorious greens to assist with this is such an awesome thing.  Here’s My Ultimate Green (banana-free) Smoothie Recipe.

What You Will Need…

  • 3 cups of organic spinach

  • 1 large organic cucumber

  • 2 organic apples (core removed)

  • 2 organic kiwi fruits

  • 1/4 cup raw organic pumpkin seeds

  • 3-6 pitted medjool dates (sweetness factor)

  • 1 teaspoon-1 tablespoon Healthforce Superfoods Vitamineral Green (optional)

  • 3-4 cups distilled/filtered waterhigh speed blender or blender of your choice

I shared how this smoothie appeared in my CRON-O-Meter account.  I didn’t include the Healthforce Superfoods Vitamineral Green supplement in the nutritional breakdown since I wanted to share only the values of eating organic whole foods.  I do include this supplement into my smoothie as my whole foods multivitamin though.  And yes this smoothie contains 11 grams of protein!

You may also notice that I didn’t add water to CRON-O-Meter which you can.  Raw fruits and vegetables contain water.  Eating dried fruits and vegetables are definitely a healthier snack than junk food, yet eating fruits and vegetables in their natural state provides more hydration to the body.
