High Energy Summer Fruit Dessert Smoothie

This smoothie isn't really dessert, yet it might as well be because it’s that good!  Now that peaches and strawberries are in season, I decided to create the most delicious summer smoothie that I have made so far.  Summer is definitely the season of the most abundant, juiciest, sweetest, and satisfying fruits.  So let's take advantage of it in every way possible.  Here's a simple yet beyond amazing all fruit smoothie for just that.  I've included the CRON-O-Meter facts in case you were interested as well.

What You Will Need...

  • 4 Organic Peaches

  • 3 Organic Pears

  • 4 Organic Figs (mine are actually frozen fruit from Trader Joe's)

  • 10 Medjool Dates

  • 4 Large Organic Strawberries

  • 2 cups pure filtered water

  • Blender

You can see how these simple and delicious fruits add up for vitamins, minerals, protein, etc. in the CRON-O-Meter pictures above. I usually always start my day with a smoothie of some kind since it fuels me like nothing else.  I'm never shaky after a morning dance class, and I have more than enough energy to accomplish whatever I have set out to do!  You'll also notice that this smoothie has 14 grams of protein.  Crazy huh?!
