I often question what exactly is the next best thing for me to do. I guess you could say I’m in a major transition, but who isn’t in life? I always feel like I’m in a life transition, and it can be very challenging to embrace it with open arms.
When we desire our lives to improve on any level, transition is necessary. We are constantly in transition in some form or another. We are consistently changing and evolving. When we are not changing everything becomes gray and stale. This is likely when dissatisfaction or depression sets in. Learning to find value in the many amazing things that we do well helps to guide our paths and improve our lives as well as the lives of others.
Exploring the many creative gifts and talents that we have can serve as our compass in discovering the next best thing we desire in life.
I often take the many things that I can do for granted by not seeing their value. This creates a feeling of being stuck when truly this is a limiting self perception. As an artist I often only value the talents that make money while giving little credit to anything else I am able to do well.
The truth is that anything that we can do well is a creative gift to be honored. Even if it’s only purpose is to bring us joy, happiness always leads us to our next positive step in life. These talents can also help us find our tribe or others who will help guide us along our way. Our creative gifts only make our lives better.
All talents, whether they are shared or not, have a unique value in life that deserve to be acknowledged.
Comparing our personal gifts with those of others is definitely unnecessary and self defeating. Let’s not look at other’s social media as a measuring tool to determine our own self worth in what we may have to share. Everything that we do well doesn’t necessarily have to create income either, yet some of our talents naturally will.
It is definitely time to step out of hiding to explore as many gifts as we can for ourselves. If it feels good to share it with others then go for it! Even if it only makes someone smile, it is a gift well served. You can never spread too much joy in this world.
What gifts have you been ignoring?
