100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream

May 21, 2012 by Dawn Michelle

Two years ago I wasn’t that big on eye creams but now I love them.  I like to keep my beauty routine as simple as possible.  Now I believe that if you are going to have an extra step to your skin care regimen that using an eye cream is the perfect extra step to add.  The skin around our eyes is much more delicate than the skin on the rest of our face.  Our eyes are so expressive and the skin around them could use some extra loving care.

I’ve been testing the 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream for a few months now.  I can honestly say that I truly enjoy using it and love the benefits that I’ve noticed over time.

Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice1, Organic Rosa Centifolia Flower Water (Rose Hydrosol)2, Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip Oil) Seed Extract3, Organic Coffea Arabica (Green Coffee) Seed Extract4, Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbate), Extracts of: Coffea Arabica (Coffee Cherry) Seed, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Origanum Vulgare (Oregano) Leaf, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Flower/Leaf, Hydrastis Canadensis (Goldenseal), Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla Absolute) Fruit, Euphorbia Cerifera Cera (Candelilla Wax)

The first thing that I noticed using the 100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream was that my eye area felt firmer.  Morning applications feel energizing for tired eyes as well as rejuvenating.

I sometimes apply the eye cream twice in the morning for that extra boost.  This eye cream feels light and non-greasy with super moisturizing power.  I absolutely love the smell of sweet coffee and vanilla which is exactly what this eye cream smells like.  The vitamin C in this cream is brightening to the skin, and 87% of those who used it noticed a reduction in dark circles.  I’ve always had puffy eyes since childhood.  Getting a good sleep at night, drinking lots of water, and eating well has always made a big difference when it comes to eye puffiness for me.  I do like that I feel tightening sensations when I apply the 100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream, and I have also noticed an overall smoother appearance around my eyes.

The first three ingredients of the 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream are especially good for mature and sensitive skin.  Aloe vera, rose hydrosol, and rosehips oil are three gentle yet extremely affective ingredients for the delicate area around the eyes.

Rosehips oil is mainly used to treat dehydrated skin, scars, and premature aging while soothing wrinkles.  By adding green coffee extracts and coffee cherry extracts, the skin receives an extra jolt of caffeine which reduces the blood supply to the area and removes water content.  Coffee extract also detoxes the skin especially when used with other herbal ingredients.

This eye cream is exceptionally creamy.  A little bit goes a long way.  The 1 oz bottle that I have has lasted me for five months so far applying it twice a day.  I love that I still have a lot more left to enjoy too!  I’m not surprised that I love another product from 100% Pure.  I recently cleaned out my small makeup stash and hope to try a few more of 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Cosmetics soon.

You can find 100% Pure products here.

I wonder if you can create a pure coffee oil infusion for skin care using organic coffee beans and a carrier oil?  Has anyone tried this?

    Hi Dawn,

I have never tried coffee bean oil, but curiosity got the best of me and I looked it up at an online shop my aromatherapist highly recommended. I have not ordered yet, but I might give them a try. They press their own oils from nearly every plant imagineable. As far as my research has come, coffee oil or coffee butter is made from pressed, roasted coffee beans, so I am not sure if you can get the same result from infusing beans in a carrier oil. The description says that it is a perfect natural sunscreen and is high in linoleic acids, which soothe irritated skin, help fading age spots and as mentioned protects against sun damage.
    HTH.

Thanks for sharing Monik! From Nature With Love also carries coffee butter and green coffee oil. I really enjoy amazing products and I get even more excited about finding fantastic pure ingredients for DIY cosmetics and to use alone.

I love the 100% Pure Organic Coffee Bean Eye Cream! I use it twice a day. I’ve found that it has reduced my under-eye puffiness and darkness.

  • My Fall/ Winter 2019 Capsule Wardrobe is up FINALLY! It's taken me a LONG time to get this capsule wardrobe together. Much of it is linen, thrifted, and a few pieces I sewed myself. I was really worried I wouldn't be prepared for winter back on the east coast, but I did get it together. Luckily winter in North Carolina is not even close to winter further north. 🍂🍁
My Fall/Winter 2019 Capsule Wardrobe consists of five tops, three skirts, five dresses, three sweaters, three coats, two pairs of shoes, a scarf, bag, and belt. 🍂🍁 This #capsulewardrobe is still #modest and should definitely appeal to the #linenlover. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🍂🍁 Much love! 🍂🍁

  • My love for linen dresses hasn’t stopped. But since our big move from Los Angeles, CA to Raleigh, NC the budget for them has. Luckily I purchased a great drop shoulder linen top a year ago that I created a pattern from.
🕊
With this pattern I’ve made a top and two dresses so far. One of the dresses is in my spring/summer capsule, yet the dress I’m sharing today is for fall/winter. Today I wanted to share a bit of the process for making this latest dress on Minimalist Beauty.

  • I haven't posted many things on food/nutrition on the blog or even here for a long time since I've been figuring things out myself. One thing that I've been doing in the last few months is fermenting all grains, beans, and legumes. 🌿 I had stopped eating them all together because of the phytic acid that they contain which can really limit your diet. Fermenting grains, beans, and legumes makes a huge difference. If this is something you'd be interested in hearing more about just let me know. 🌿This delicious dinner is piled high with mixed greens, basmati rice, black beans, avocado, and a rather large mound of raw minced garlic which is my warrior food against getting sick while the weather is changing here in NC. #fermenting #minimalistbeautyeats #foodasmedicine
  • My most updated skin care regimen along with the HUGE benefits using only oils high in linoleic acid for six years in my skin care routine on the blog today. Wishing all if you a beautiful weekend! 💞Dawn Michelle

  • I never thought I would actually say this but, I'm really enjoying the bare walls of our new apartment. After the stress and chaos of moving our family across the country, I've noticed that bare walls allow me space to think. 🌿 We're constantly bombarded with information, and some of it we create ourselves. It's all much more than I can comfortably handle. 🌿 Just sharing some thoughts on minimalism and decor on the blog today. Pictured is part of my son's creative space. Hope you're having a great week! 🌿 #simpleliving #minimalistbeauty #minimalistdecor
  • Moving is always challenging. No one is exempt. Our family of three (plus our dog) recently relocated from Los Angeles, California to Raleigh, North Carolina. We made a stop in Virginia to spend time with family as well as recoup from the first part of our move. We then planned what we could for our new location.
🕊
This entire move has been a true testimony of faith since I’ve only been to Raleigh once as a teen, and we chose our apartment online sight unseen. 🕊

  • We're currently selling and donating 95% of our things and relocating. 🕊What has surprised me more than anything else is when we decided to donate and sell practically everything, our possessions no longer had the same value to us. 🕊I'm extremely excited for this new beginning. 🕊Read more on minimalistbeauty.com. #minimalist #minimalistlifestyle #decluttering #newbeginnings 🕊(FYI... During this transition @iamAZUHA will be on a summer vacation for a few weeks beginning Wednesday June 19th. So if you need to restock on the AZUHA Red Raspberry Skin Elixir go for it.)
  • Yes I did it again. I was planning to grow it long, but things changed. I blame it on being a busy mom, but I've been eyeing this cut for a few years now. All the details on how I cut my own hair in a very simple way is up on Minimalist Beauty... Linen dress by @cottoncandy_by_romana
