I LOVE a good quality handbag, and especially a classic timeless piece because it’s ideal for a capsule wardrobe. I lucked up on this vintage Coach navy blue leather shoulder bag on Etsy. This bag is much smaller than what I used to carry and is also saving my shoulder because of it. I’m enjoying a smaller handbag simply because it also doesn’t allow me to stuff my bag with things that don’t belong, and it is much easier to find what I need. So here’s what I keep in my vintage bag…
1. Thrifted Yellow Hobo International Wallet
I’m thinking about getting a smaller wallet, yet it makes me so happy every time I pull out this sunshine yellow case. What’s crazy is that even though I purchased this at a consignment shop it still had the tags on it. Score!!
2. Leather/Wood Hair Barrette by Old School Leather
This barrette is my go-to hair accessory for anytime I just want to get my hair out of the way or to protect my ends.
3. Wood Maui Mirror
I don’t usually buy touristy things on vacation, but this mirror has been perfect!
4. Keys + Spare Car Key
I carry a spare car key for valet or car maintenance. I don’t like handing over all my keys for those kind of things.
This organic BB cream is one of my favorite natural products because its a moisturizer, primer, and no color foundation. It also makes a great highlighter. It’s a perfect way to instantly brighten skin at any time of the day.
6. Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Fake Out Mascara in Black
Great inexpensive mascara that doesn’t contain nasty ingredients and isn’t tested on animals is a plus for me any day. And yes I’m that girl who applies mascara in the car when I get to my location.
7. Badger Vanilla Bean Cocoa Butter Lip Balm
I love vanilla anything so this lip balm has become a favorite when I’m out of my own DIY lip balm. I think I’ll need to add vanilla absolute instead of the other essential oils to my next lip balm batch.
Are you a big or small handbag gal? I think I tend to go back and forth.
