What I’ve been up to…
Lately Minimalist Beauty and Azuha have been requiring a lot more of my time. For the past two months I’ve seriously been neglecting my body, and have not been consistently in dance class. I usually take class 4-5 times a week as well as do conditioning exercises and stretching at home. Instead I’ve been sitting in front of the computer researching information, blogging, or crocheting and designing jewelry for Azuha my Etsy store. In other words I’ve been sitting on my butt, yet still working hard.
I’m going to keep it real by saying I’ve been trying to do the most which isn’t always a good thing.
On Tuesday I had a dance audition that went well, yet I was dancing as if I’ve been consistently in my dance classes, doing Pilates and yoga, stretching daily, and taking Epson salt baths every night. In return my body was LIVID! Being a professional dancer isn’t something you can fabricate, and taking care of your body is extremely important. I’m now having to take time away from everything else to put myself through boot camp to get back on track. My love for dance only gets stronger. I love how free I feel when I dance, I love the stage, and I love working the camera.
Dance has always been my first love, and I need to focus more on it right now. Finding a bit more organization and balance with everything is a must!
In between running a bunch of errands before taking class last night, I quickly moved some furniture around to take some photos for today’s post. I just knew that I wouldn’t have the time or energy to write a long article on the environment, beauty, or minimalism. I’ll still share what’s going on with me and what I discover this month as usual, yet the articles may be a bit shorter. I’m also trying to get caught up with replying to messages, so just know I haven’t forgotten you. Wishing you all a beautiful weekend and talk soon!
Peace & Sunshine,
