I love fashion and beauty, yet am also a minimalist. I'm a professional dancer and model and have been a part of the entertainment industry for years. I've also worked in one of the largest beauty retailers as a consultant. Minimalist Beauty is a lifestyle of simplicity, freedom from clutter and the unnecessary, using organic and natural beauty products free of any chemical or toxic preservatives, and spending more time doing what you absolutely love most. Minimalist Beauty is my journey of thoughts, inspirations, and lessons creating a life of simplicity and therefore more artistic expression. I hope you enjoy!

Azuha Is Open!
Yesterday was the grand opening of my new Etsy store Azuha. Mid December I closed down my former Etsy store Artistic Beauty to remodel and reinvent my handmade shop for the new year. Currently the store features The Azuha Chain Infinity, a crochet fiber necklace designed to add extreme style to the minimalist wardrobe. I [...]

Creatively Blessed
I am currently in rehearsals and doing promotional gigs for L’effleur Des Sens, a French Cabaret. I have been a part of this project since 2003 and it has been a beautiful experience to watch the show grow and develop. It is such a blessing to work with talented artists that are also like family. [...]
Minimalism and Dreams
I was recently asked how minimalism has changed my life. Creating a minimalist lifestyle has allowed me to refocus on my true heart’s desire. As I have relieved myself of clutter, I’ve also had more mental and emotional space to concentrate on my deepest desires versus my previous distractions that once consumed me. I used [...]

Adsila
This year has been all about creativity. I began writing this blog, designing jewelry for my Etsy store Artistic Beauty, and also choreographing again. Here is a dance piece that I put up at a local club in Hollywood with a phenomenal dancer that I met dancing during this years Oscars. I named this piece [...]
Write Down Your Dreams
Seeing my accountant today was a great reminder of how important it is to keep track of your goals on paper. I doubt this the first time you have heard this. My mother talks about list making when we speak especially if my tone is far from blissful. One of the best reasons I can [...]
Now Is the Time
The more that I have been focusing on what I truly desire in my life, the more it has fueled me to move toward those dreams. I believe that my minimalist journey has also played a great part in streamlining all of my past distractions (shopping, clutter, keeping up with the Joneses) to stay focused [...]
Minimalist Fashion With Compai Studio
Women usually consume excess fashion and beauty products. When we are always buying the newest and latest, getting bored with what we already have, we have an enormous amount of clothing some probably with the tags still on them and are even possibly throwing clothes away. This consumer’s mentality is a heavy burden on the [...]

Artists and the Minimalist Lifestyle
When I first started on this journey, I didn’t find one artist discussing their minimalist lifestyle. Although I haven’t seen too many artists writing about their journey, I do think that many artists can be minimalists. As an artist you may not be as extreme as only owning 100 personal items, but you can pare [...]

Minimalist Clothing Design
I tend to be attracted to beautifully colored basic clothing pieces. I love a loose fit yet flattering tunics and jeans or a simple sexy slip dress. I usually focus my wardrobe around color, basics, and fabulous accessories. The fabric is very important, and I prefer really soft organic material. This past weekend I decided [...]
