In college I decided to go a full year without clothing shopping. It was a great experience that created discipline and most likely jump started my thoughts towards minimalism although I didn’t know it at the time. In return I saved a ton of money and instead focused on other things. It was then that I also got into simple indulgences that still made me feel fabulous to this day.
My simple sweet indulgences are usually fancy soaps, yummy lotions or body mists, a mood enhancing candle, or an amazing essential oil. Each one of these delicious items are made from natural, organic, and pure ingredients. I truly adore beautifully crafted products that are healthy for the mind, body, and spirit.
I found this lovely soap at Whole Foods. At the time I was on a raw cacao kick so figured I should definitely include chocolate in my beauty ritual. Showers have never been more luxurious! This handmade vegetable glycerin based soap is extremely moisturizing with a mix of ground almond meal and Pacifica’s unique fragrance blend cinnamon, nutmeg, almond, clove and patchouli essential oils and of course Mexican chocolate as the base. Super delicious and I love the mix of spices with patchouli and chocolate!
100% Pure Vanilla Bean Nourishing Body Cream
100% Pure products are fantastic, plus completely chemical and preservative free! Their Vanilla Bean Nourishing Body Cream is so wonderful that my husband used all of my lotion up! I was a bit upset at first, okay I was really upset, but decided to get him his own body cream in Cocoa Kona Coffee Body Cream. I’m a bit envious that he seems to make one bottle last six months and I go through mine in one or two, but I desperately need to get over that. 100% Pure uses pure vanilla absolute in the formulation and the scent lasts all day long. There are 16 total “flavors” and they are yummy!
Ingredients: Aloe Juice, Rose Hydrosol, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Butter, Grapeseed Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Candelilla Wax, Blackcurrant Oil, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vanilla Absolute, Hazelnut, Organic Green Coffee, Organic Wild Cherry5, Pomegranate, Organic Raspberry, Blackberry and Organic White Tea, Citric Acid, Witch Hazel, Japanese Honeysuckle, Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme and Goldenseal, Grain Alcohol, Acai Berry, Resveratrol, Organic Green Tea, Mangosteen, Goji Berry, Maqui Berry, Elderberry and Muscadine Grape.
Sensuous Beauty Sweet Woods Botanical Body Mist
The Sweet Woods Botanical Body Mist as well as the Sweet Woods Massage and Body Lotion always has people asking me what fragrance I’m wearing. It is also the one woodsy fragrance that my husband loves since he is more into sweet scents over woodsy. It is the perfect combination of the two and my absolute favorite of all times.
Sweet Woods Botanical Body Mist Ingredients: distilled water, brandy and our sensuous Sweet Woods blend of essential oils and resins
Sweet Woods Massage and Body Lotion Ingredients: organic canola oil, distilled water, cocoa butter, beeswax, vitamin E oil and our sensuous Sweet Woods blend of herbs and essential oils.
Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Soy Candle
Hawaiian Ruby Guava is a delightfully scrumptious scent to have burning in my home. I actually do have a few that I love from Pacifica but this one really makes me smile. I also found this soy candle at Whole Foods yet this brand is sold in a wide range of retailers. This vegetable based candle has the sultry tropical blend of sweet, berry-like notes of Guava with a bright, citrusy top note of Pomelo and a warm and subtle Coconut base. This scent is my mini vacation at right at home.

Yummm I love essential oils in body products. They smell delicious enough to eat.
On another note I like how your blog is designed to match it’s title….Minimalism. Some blogs are too cluttered. Yours is nice and clean.
Thanks Michelle! Have a beautiful weekend!
