1. Thrifted H&M black jumpsuit/overalls
2. Thrifted & Upcycled Equipment navy dyed button up
3. Vintage Coach navy handbag
4. Naturalizer ‘Tipley’ Bootie
I honestly try to stick to classic pieces, yet I couldn’t leave these black overalls behind when I found them at Wasteland last spring. I think it was because they didn’t look like traditional overalls, and they also have the ability to look like a black jumpsuit when styled differently for example here. This jumpsuit/overalls were also a part of my S/S 2014 Capsule Wardrobe, and here’s just another way that I’ve styled them.
Navy and black look pretty perfect together in my opinion. I mixed up the accessories instead of having them both black or both navy. The Naturalizer ‘Tipley’ Bootie were the shoes I decided on buying this fall instead of the heeled oxfords I was eying earlier. I figured they would be just a versatile and more comfortable with a lower heel. This navy button up was one of my upcycled pieces from last fall. Who knew fiber reactive dye and new buttons would be such a major transformation?!
