I love fashion and beauty, yet am also a minimalist. I'm a professional dancer and model and have been a part of the entertainment industry for years. I've also worked in one of the largest beauty retailers as a consultant. Minimalist Beauty is a lifestyle of simplicity, freedom from clutter and the unnecessary, using organic and natural beauty products free of any chemical or toxic preservatives, and spending more time doing what you absolutely love most. Minimalist Beauty is my journey of thoughts, inspirations, and lessons creating a life of simplicity and therefore more artistic expression. I hope you enjoy!

My Simple Holiday Decor
I absolutely love holiday decor, yet I never really do too much of it. This year my family is coming into town for the holidays. This will be the first time in six years that I will spend Christmas with them. I will be hosting Christmas Eve for ten family members. I thought I would [...]

Gratitude
I wanted to start this week out just thinking about everything that I am grateful for. It’s not usually traditional for my family to share these things on Thanksgiving day. I do know that being in a state of gratitude usually keeps me in a positive mood no matter what day it is, or what [...]
The Holidays
I can hardly believe that I’m talking about this already, but I was in Target the other day to pick up contact solution and one or two other things and all the Christmas and Hanukkah decorations, gift wrapping, and cards were in. Not to mention advertisements for the holidays are already in full force. I’m [...]

Sat Nam
Today I took a Kundalini yoga class at Golden Bridge Yoga with a good friend of mine. It was exactly what I needed after a long week and wonderful show last night with L’effleur Des Sens. Kundalini yoga integrates mantras and fire breathing like no other style of yoga that I’ve ever tried before. There [...]
Decluttering the Kitchen
On a recent trip to the Bay area in Northern California, my husband and I stayed at an Extended Stay America Hotel in Alameda. These hotels offer mini kitchens as well as other long stay amenities such as laundry facilities, a fitness room, pool, and more. Apartment style hotels are our favorite way to travel [...]

Reduce
We’ve heard “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” so often that I bet some people just ignore the phrase and go about their business. Many people are becoming more conscious and taking the time to recycle which is a great start. Recycling has become easier to do than ever and vital for the well being of our planet. [...]

A More Minimalist Approach to Beauty
Throughout the process of writing Minimalist Beauty all of the many DIY products and ingredients made my bathroom cabinet everything but minimal. This past week I decluttered once again to further streamline so that I am no longer bombarded with too many oils, butters, herbs etc. Although many of the DIY beauty recipes I have [...]

Quotes Along My Minimalist Journey
It has been almost two years that I’ve been decluttering, and earlier last week I had a breakdown of impatience and frustration. I couldn’t believe that this process was still going, and I was wondering why I hadn’t arrived to my full expectation of what I wanted my minimalist life to look like. It is [...]
