I love fashion and beauty, yet am also a minimalist. I'm a professional dancer and model and have been a part of the entertainment industry for years. I've also worked in one of the largest beauty retailers as a consultant. Minimalist Beauty is a lifestyle of simplicity, freedom from clutter and the unnecessary, using organic and natural beauty products free of any chemical or toxic preservatives, and spending more time doing what you absolutely love most. Minimalist Beauty is my journey of thoughts, inspirations, and lessons creating a life of simplicity and therefore more artistic expression. I hope you enjoy!

The Azuha Chain ABUNDANCE
I recently designed a shorter version of The Azuha Chain INFINITY–crocheted fiber necklace called The Azuha Chain ABUNDANCE. It has so much style and is extremely fun to wear with any outfit. Each crocheted fiber necklace is offered in nine different colors. I have more styles coming soon! See more from my Etsy store Azuha [...]
Azuha Is Open!
Yesterday was the grand opening of my new Etsy store Azuha. Mid December I closed down my former Etsy store Artistic Beauty to remodel and reinvent my handmade shop for the new year. Currently the store features The Azuha Chain Infinity, a crochet fiber necklace designed to add extreme style to the minimalist wardrobe. I [...]

My Wardrobe Checklist
I currently have about two full bags of clothing that I have cleared out from my closet that I plan to sell and donate. Over the past two years my style has dramatically changed and evolved in so many ways. Some of the items that were working for me in the past are no longer [...]

Dressing For The New Chic You
Whenever I travel abroad, I am aware how extremely casual many Americans dress daily. Most Americans only dress nicely for work or special occasions. Clothing lacks a flattering fit and dressed up means overdone. Wearing athletic wear or tennis shoes for occasions outside of the gym, participating in sports, or hiking aren’t chic. Take pride [...]
DIY Satin Nightgown
I am seriously needing new sleepwear, and although I’d love to run to the store and pick one or two up, I decided that I’d make one at home especially after seeing this video. What’s the point of having a wonderful sewing machine if I don’t use it anyway. I found this simple to follow [...]
Loving Turbans and Head Wraps
Forever bohemian style is all about the turban and the head wrap. Turbans and head wraps easily create glamour and artistry to your wardrobe basics. I’ve worn head wraps off and on for years. It is the perfect fashionable way to keep your head warm during the winter months and protect your hair from the [...]

Yokoo–Amazing Etsy Designer
Autumn is finally here and getting cozy after a rainy day and keeping warm when you do go out is necessary. I love Tazo Honeybush Tea, cable knit tights, rust, mustard, and cinnamon leaves on the trees, tall riding boots, and that perfect snugly scarf or hat. One truly creative designer on Etsy is Yokoo. Artist [...]

Vintage Inspired Renewal–Ashley Watson
Ashley Watson, a Vancouver based designer with a background in fine arts, creates one of a kind leather products by hand from exclusively reclaimed material. Her pieces are absolutely stunning and very high quality. This summer I came across one of her bags in fushia at Crossroads, my favorite buy-sell-trade retailer, that was marked 50% [...]
Bohemian Fall Favorites
Sometimes it’s those specialty pieces that really create beauty and awe to your wardrobe effortlessly. You don’t need many, but one or two unique pieces make a big difference in a chic minimalist wardrobe. Here are five fall favorites from eco and bohemian designers. This fall I’m loving cowl necklines, comfy knits, hoods, wide leg [...]
