I love fashion and beauty, yet am also a minimalist. I'm a professional dancer and model and have been a part of the entertainment industry for years. I've also worked in one of the largest beauty retailers as a consultant. Minimalist Beauty is a lifestyle of simplicity, freedom from clutter and the unnecessary, using organic and natural beauty products free of any chemical or toxic preservatives, and spending more time doing what you absolutely love most. Minimalist Beauty is my journey of thoughts, inspirations, and lessons creating a life of simplicity and therefore more artistic expression. I hope you enjoy!

Now Is the Time
The more that I have been focusing on what I truly desire in my life, the more it has fueled me to move toward those dreams. I believe that my minimalist journey has also played a great part in streamlining all of my past distractions (shopping, clutter, keeping up with the Joneses) to stay focused [...]
DIY Herbal Oil Infusions
I realized the other day that I tend to use oils for everything; a face and body moisturizer, pre-shampoo treatments, and an extra hair conditioner after using my DIY Leave-In Conditioner. I guess I’m not into creams and lotions as much as I thought. I hardly ever use them. After becoming aware of that, I [...]

Amla–Ayurvedic Herb for Health and Beauty
My interest in Ayurveda for health and beauty increased especially after seeing how greatly my hair has benefitted from bimonthly henna treatments. I learned that amla, also known as Indian Gooseberry, is one of the most commonly used herbs in ayurvedic health and beauty. Amla fruit is primarily composed of water, and full of proteins, [...]

Infusium 23 The Natural Way (Remixed)
I used to use Infusium 23 Leave-In Conditioner when I was in high school. Those were the days I never read the ingredients of any product, and was also putting relaxers in my hair. The excessive amount of toxic chemicals I was introducing to my body daily during those days was absolutely horrifying. Here are [...]

I’m A Vegan
Vegan–a strict vegetarian; someone who eats no animal or dairy products at all I was asked this weekend if I became vegan for selfish reasons. This question caught me off guard. I’ve never thought of taking good care of myself as selfish. I became vegan after reading too much while touring with a show. I [...]

Minimalist Fashion With Compai Studio
Women usually consume excess fashion and beauty products. When we are always buying the newest and latest, getting bored with what we already have, we have an enormous amount of clothing some probably with the tags still on them and are even possibly throwing clothes away. This consumer’s mentality is a heavy burden on the [...]

Details I Love
I moved around so many times when I lived in New York that it was hard for me to stomach having a futon, chair, and table in my first apartment in Brooklyn. I was so used to having only two large bags of possessions with me. I lived with friends, stayed in a woman’s hostel, [...]

My Home
I’ve been designing and decluttering my home for months now to enjoy the beautiful space that I live in. I wanted to share my progress so far. Yesterday I reorganized my work station and absolutely love the changes. I took apart the top shelf portion of the computer desk, and re-purposed it to make shelving [...]

Fabulously Renewed
Reduce, recycle, reuse… and now renew. Renew should be the new black. I can think of three reasons why; it’s better for your wallet, the planet, and makes fashion fun. I have a pair of boots that I bought in London about five years ago that just weren’t getting the wear that they deserved. Although [...]
